Log Cabin Day is held on the last Sunday of every June to celebrate the history of log cabins and the peaceful lifestyle that comes with them. The Google Doodle depicts a lumberjack returning to his cozy retreat unbeknownst to a sasquatch who is frustrated by the lumberjack’s ignorance of the environment and wildlife. Portions of the illustration break the frame to provide a sense of depth within the artwork.
